3D Algebra Island is a fun way to review the main topics in Algebra including factoring quadratic equations, solving for a variable, calculating distances and slopes, absolute value, inequalities, line of best fit, scientific notation, and simple statistics. Each question was designed by Dr. William Schmachtenberg, a certified high school math teacher. One of the main features of the app is algebra context. That means the math questions are tied into tasks on the island such as calculating the path of a cannonball by means of quadratic equations. The app also includes a calypso sound track. Students can use the MyX and MyY to create a map of the island on graph paper.
